Importing loans and endorsements
The following can be imported from Odyssey into Clearquote to generate funding quotes that can be funded to obtain money to finance the loans:
- Odyssey loans
- Positive (increase) endorsements that were created on the loan AFTER the loan was funded
Loans imported will have the outstanding balance funded. The exact amount to fund will depend if the funding quote is funded by the warehouse or not. Loans can be funded either by the warehouse or by external investors or by balance sheet.
If funded through the warehouse the amount to fund is outstanding balance of the loan - any future finance charges not already earned + payments received to date. Of this the funding interest will be made up of any payments received from the borrower as the warehouse will not fund this portion. The amount already received from the borrower is funded by balance sheet.
If funded by external investors or balance sheet, the amount to fund is outstanding balance of the loan – all interest only - documentation fee + payments received to date. The payment amount already received from the borrower is funded by balance sheet.
Increase endorsements imported will have the endorsement amount funded. Increase endorsements can only be funded by external investors or balance sheet
1. Navigate to the Clearmatch Admin Portal and select the "Import Quotes" menu item.
2. You will be presented with a page that will automatically list the quotes that have been created in Odyssey in the last 30 days:
3. The filter can be used to search for specific Odyssey loans
Get loans approved in the last - loans approved in the last 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 180, 365, ALL days
Amount greater than - loans with an outstanding balance greater than the amount specified
Loan number - a specific Odyssey loan number. This is wildcard search so entering 3468 will retrieve the loans number 000000003468
Quote number - a specific Odyssey quote number
There reaming filter options use data from within Clearquote, not Odyssey to retrieve the loan, allowing you to filter for loans already previously imported.
4. Clicking the "Search" button will return the details that meet the filter criteria supplied.
5. The small icon on the right of the menu will slide the menu back and forth to give you more viewing space on the screen.
6. If a loan or endorsement has never previously been imported, a blue "import" button 
will appear on the right of the page next to the quote. Click on it to import the details from Odyssey into Clearquote.
Once the import is complete a "Clearquote funding quote number" will appear on the page and the import button will change to a green "update" button. Clicking on the hyperlinked "Clearquote funding quote number" will navigate you to the funding quote maintenance page.
7. Clicking on the green update button will reimport the details from Odyssey. Note that if this is done, all funding option details that have already been created against the funding quote, will be cleared.
8. A loan or endorsement will not be able to be re imported once the funding quote has been funded or cancelled, i.e. the funding status is "Loan" or "Cancelled". See status details here
9. If an error is encountered while trying to import a red "error" icon 
will appear in the list. Clicking on the icon will present the error message to you.
The majority of the time the error will occur as a result of details in Odyssey not existing in Clearmatch Fusion against the premium funding company. Once you have rectified the issue you can import again. Note that these are web pages and there is caching (which in summary is temporary storing of configuration date in memory), so it may happen that you have to wait 2 minutes before reimporting
